Why should you fit a Remus Exhaust? Well our company car happens to be a Cupra Formentor VZx and runs this exhaust system with the helmhotz style front race resonator. In our slightly biased opinion this car is near perfect in many ways but the Euro 6 GPF installed makes it very quiet. This race style system really opens up as you cycle through the Sport and Cupra modes. Now you can hear and experience the engine in all its glory, completing the Cupra Formentor performance package.
The use of racing exhaust products and products which do not have EC approval is generally not permitted on public roads
When fitting REMUS sports silencers, cat-backc or gpf-back systems it is generally not necessary to undertake a tune. However when installing turbo-back exhaust systems and cat or gpf replacement pipes designed for use on closed tracks, it is advantageous to carry out an ECU remapping, in order to exploit the optimum performance of the exhaust system and to prevent the check engine from lighting up.
