The use of racing products and products which do not have EC approval is generally not permitted on public roads.When fitting REMUS sports silencers, cat-back systems and cat replacement pipes designed for use on closedtracks, it is advantageous to carry out an ECU remapping, in order to exploit the optimum performance of theexhaust system and to prevent the check engine from lighting up.
When installing REMUS down pipes with and without racing catalytic converters designed for use on closed tracks, ECUremapping is mandatory in order not to unfavorably influence the running behavior of the engine and to prevent any illumination of the engine control light.
